We’ll begin Thursday night, September 11 at 6:00 PM – don’t worry about getting there right at 6. Come when you can!

What will we do? The cool Urchin hat. We will all work on the project at the same time.

You will need the pattern. Download it and bring it: http://ysolda.com/wordpress/patterns/ . You will need size 10 ½ needles.
Yarn: 110 yards of Bulky weight. Nikki is wonderful to show off the colorway! Other great choices are: Baby Alpaca Grande, Sulka, Senso, Tabali, Reality or Country. See a sample at the shop, which is made from Nikki.

No special skills are required, however you will be doing a provisional cast on and short rows. If you have not done these, don’t worry! You will have plenty of help, so this is a great opportunity to learn new techniques!

Sign up now! Call the shop at 662-349-8883, or send us an email at hank@hankofyarn.com.

Come knit with us!

There’s a new book in the shop called

    Knitalong

which has a statement in Chapter One that I like: “There’s something timeless about sitting around with your fellow knitters and your works in progress. The warmth of a…cup of tea, the clicking of needles and the satisfaction of quiet talk–or no talk at all–has a completeness to it. Nothing more need be added.”
Come knit with us anytime, but especially on Thursday evenings we are open till 9 PM just for this kind of sharing.

We have also partnered with several companies to be a “SOX HOT SPOT.” We have a large supply of sock yarns, patterns and needles to make all the socks you want or need to make.

We are growing…having a hard time to find space for everything, and have too many new items to list! Stop by and check our new stuff!

Check our new class schedule and come learn and grow with us.

Hank
